Itapemirim receives its third aircraft | MORE THAN FLY

Itapemirim Transportes Aereos, the newest Brazilian airline and airline of the Itapemirim Group, announced the arrival of its third aircraft on Brazilian soil. The landing took place on Sunday, June 6, 2021 at 1:11 am, at Galeão International Airport (GIG), in Rio de Janeiro-RJ. The aircraft takeoff from the Kansas City International Airport airport in the United States at 11:20 am on Saturday, June 5, 2021.


After landing at Galeão Intl. Airport, the aircraft will remain at the site for nationalization processes and to receive new paint and internal customizations. ITA's Airbus A320 will be configured for 162 seats, providing more individual space for all passengers.


ITA's new Airbus A320 is prefixed with PS-SFC, in honor of Director of Operational Safety, Sydnei F. Casarini.

The forecast is that the company will reach the end of 2021 with 20 aircraft, from a fleet of 50, which will be formed by June of next year.


ITA will make its inaugural flight on June 29, 2021, between the airports of Guarulhos and Brasília. Until June 2022, ITA will serve 35 destinations in its network. Tickets are already on sale on the company's website, at https://www.voeita.com.br, and at travel agencies.
